Good news to Cabal gamers in the Philippines! The much-awaited sequel Cabal II: The Neoforce Era will also be heading to the Philippines.
Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand were the only Southeast Asian countries set to have Cabal II, but recently, Asiasoft and ESTsoft have also included the Philippines. As you may recall, Cabal Online is included in our list of the most commonly played PC games in the Philippines.
So when will this be released? The game is already available in Korea. But there is no official announcement of the exact release date for the English version. It was reported, however, that Southeast Asia and North America will be getting the English version of this game some time in 2014. We have contacted Asiasoft and will update if we hear back.
Update : Asiasoft has not announced any official release about Cabal II heading to the Philippines, but it shared with us two links to their partner releases from Reuters and The Korea Economic Daily. According to the article posted by the latter:
Estsoft announced that it signed a deal with Thailand’s Asiasoft Corporation PCL to export its new game CABAL II to the Philippines. CABAL II is an action MMORPG using Cryengine 3. Since its domestic service was launched in 2012, it has been offered stably through continuous updates.
This contract takes the form of expanding the scope of service countries, coming after Estsoft signed a deal in September 2012 with Asiasoft to export CABAL II to Thailand, Singapore, and Malaysia.
