Tiger Global leads $40m round of Indian cloud kitchen startup
EatClub Brands, a cloud kitchen operator based in India, has raised US$40 million in a round led by Tiger Global.
The startup has eight brands including Box8 and Mojo Pizza, with Globo Ice Cream and Zaza Biryani as the latest additions. The full-stack company has one of Asia’s largest cloud kitchen networks, running 150 facilities across five cities in its home market.

Established in 2012, EatClub Brands will use the fresh funds to hire talent and scale geographically to over 500 kitchens in 15 cities in India. The startup also plans on “acquiring delivery-first food brands that are loved by customers,” says co-founder Anshul Gupta.
EatClub Brands competes with cloud kitchen unicorn Rebel Foods, which joined the billion-dollar valuation club in October after raising US$175 million.
