This Korean studio is rolling the dice, literally, on Kickstarter

Fakedice, the studio made up of six former Codebrush devs we told you about before has recently launched a Kickstarter for its new project, a card game that the team said wanted to be “Hearthstone for Dungeons and Dragons fans.”

The game is called Dicetiny: The Lord of the Dice and its Kickstarter is just getting rolling. Pun unintended. The gang at Fakedice seem to love puns, however, as a quick stop by its Kickstarter page will reveal, the title of the game and the examples of the game’s four races being the most ready examples.

Dicetiny is a virtual board game that will have you playing as either a human, elf, dwarf, or gnome in its current version. Each race can take one of four classes: cleric, warrior, mage, or rogue. There are four locations that are integral to the gameplay, the palace, temple, shop, and town hall. These guys like like things in fours, apparently. You’ll naturally be trying to slay a dragon that’s been running amuck in your once quiet kingdom.

The project has a modest goal of CAD$30,000 ($27,000), and is off to a good start as it has raised nearly $4,000 just a few hours in.

Give this one a look, and let us know your impressions of the game.
