The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt looks incredible

The Witcher 2 was, I feel confident in saying, the best looking RPG ever created. The game is a few years old now, but if you fire it up on a top end PC it still looks absolutely gorgeous. So when I say that Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt looks even better, I want you to know just how strong a statement that is.

But you don’t have to take my word for it; check out this short trailer that premiered this weekend at VGX, Spike TV and Gametrailers’s awkward advertisement fest. Three hours of Spike’s nonsense was worth it just to see this baby. (Be sure you don’t forget to turn the quality up to 1080p and watch it in full screen for the full effect).

I don’t know much about graphics development, but I think maybe the guys at CD Projekt are actually witches themselves, because that looks amazing. PC gamers and next-gen console owners will get to play this one sometime in 2014, but exactly when is still a mystery. I think it probably goes without saying that we can’t wait to get our hands on it.
