League of Legends is a free-to-play game. And, thankfully, everything that can actually impact the gameplay can be purchased using IP, a currency that can be earned in-game. But what if you’re impatient or simply old school and just want to own the game right from the start: all the champions, all the skins, everything. How much would it cost?
That’s a question that popped into my head after reading this thread on Reddit, so after doing a little number crunching and price-hunting, I put together this infographic to answer it.

OK, now for all the fine print. First of all, obviously these price vary from country to country based on the value of the local currency, so although the prices of champions and skins in North America and Korea, for example, should be pretty similar because both regions are operated by Riot, the prices aren’t exactly the same. Above, I’ve used US prices for Riot, Philippine prices for Garena, and the Chinese prices for Tencent. US prices come from the League of Legends wiki, Chinese prices come from Tencent’s online LoL store, and Philippine prices come directly from the game client there (via my colleague Vincent).
Because they can change rapidly and aren’t available everywhere, I ignored sale prices and all bundles except for the Digital Collectors and Champions bundles. I also ignored temporarily available items and did not factor in any legacy items so, for example, the lunar revel ward skins aren’t included in the prices listed above because they were available for a limited time only. Even so, different items are available in different regions and that partially accounts for the pricing discrepancies.
Finally, if you don’t trust my numbers—I wouldn’t blame you; I’ve been known to make a few math mistakes—you can take a look at some of the crunching and scribbling that went into this post here.
