Blade & Soul expansion coming to Korean servers; check out the trailer!

Blade & Soul may not have an English version yet, but the game has been kicking ass in its native Korea and also in China, where it finally launched in open beta a few months ago (click here for my first impressions of the game). And now Korean gamers are in for another treat: an expansion titled Chapter 2: Hell Island (not an official translation) that’s coming to Korean servers as an update on January 22.

The update’s story centers around the ‘Black God’, who players will be fighting to contain and defeat as he pollutes the world with evil magic forces and spawns monsters.

There are reportedly also three other chapters that will be coming to Korean servers as updates, but details on these chapters are scarce for the moment. It’s also not clear when — if ever — the Hell Island expansion will hit Chinese servers, or when we’re finally going to get an English version of Blade & Soul.
