Hi everyone!

We are Aaron, Elliot and Janice from the YouTube Channel, Tree Potatoes. Some of you may recognize our names or even our faces. You’ve probably seen us on various social media platforms as well as on TV! Though the 3 of us are the most recognizable, our team actually consists of other members (10 in total).

We are most well-known for our comedy skits e.g. “Differences Between Dating and Marriage“, but we also cover other genres such as romance and family. If you have been living in a well and have not heard of us, shame on you!

YouTube videos is not the only source of revenue that we have. We also produce videos for other companies, TV shows as well as acting in other productions and commercials.

Know Us Better! (Yes, you have to):

Aaron Khoo is the founding member of Tree Potatoes. He is the main scriptwriter and the director. He graduated from SMU with a degree in Finance and look what he is doing now, something absolutely unrelated. In fact, he doesn’t even run the finances and accounts of the company. Yes, he hired someone else to do it.

Janice Chiang is the token female of the team, the producer, sales executive, business manager, etc, basically she dips her hands in everything. She is also the one who messages people about work at 2am. Janice = work, work = Janice. She graduated from NUS with an honors degree in Biomedical Science, totally unrelated to media (again).

Elliot Lucas Marcell Tan is the guy with the ridiculously long name in the team (we haven’t included his Chinese name). Probably the most recognizable member of the team, he enjoys walking around the office half-naked, claiming that it helps in getting the ladies (tried and tested). He is currently pursuing a double major in Philosophy and Literature in NUS (unrelated to media seems to be the pattern here) and he’s on the NUS Dean’s list. Genius.
