Ask TIA: Should I develop in-house or outsource?

Hello TIA Community,

I need some advice regarding the development of my website and app.

I live in Indonesia and am new to the industry. Personally, I believe that I have a good idea regarding the online fashion industry. My partners and I are working hard and are reaching the final concept of our website and app. However we are stumped as to decide if we want to develop the programming internally (in-house) or outsource this abroad. We are currently thinking of a few programming services from the US.

Please share your experiences and give us some advice regarding the good and the bad of either, as well as what can we look forward to during the process.
