“One, two, three, and blow!” (The camera shutter clicks) Your picture is taken.
An app from Japan allows you to take picture with your iPhone by blowing the mic. Why take pictures this way? Well, if you have shaky hands, you now can have two hands holding on tight to your phone while you “snap” with a blow. It’s that simple.
Is it useful? Maybe not, but it’s certainly fun and cool — an app to impress your friends. Perhaps, its self-timer snapshot feature could also prove helpful in a group photo-taking. It costs $0.99 (iTunes link).
I tried the app and I find it pretty fascinating. The app allows you to set the mic sensitivity to ensure that it doesn’t snap when it is too windy. It also has a convenient wheeler that quickly allows users to switch to manual or timer photo-taking mode. That’s about it. The blowing command is innovative, I must say.
