Chinese EV startup WM Motor’s $1.47b round drove up Asian funding in September
Half of Asia’s total funding amount last month went to China, followed by India, South Korea, Japan, and Singapore.
Late-stage deals in China headline Asian funding in August
Asia saw over 400 funding deals made this month totalling over US$5 billion, down from last month’s US$19 billion.

Of the total funding amount, China and Southeast Asia saw the biggest funding amount which is $9.28 billion and $1.2 billion respectively.
