BBTruck and Haulio believe that the rise of SEA’s semiconductor and EV sectors will increase demand for multimodal logistics.

The acquisition adds another 2,000 first-mile vehicles to Haulio’s current fleet of 10,000.

Haulio said that it has facilitated the movement of over 2 million containers since 2017, half of which happened in 2021 alone.

Haulio plans to expand its footprint in Southeast Asia within the next three years.

The participating startups will each receive US$150,000 in exchange for a 15% share.
