Chinese FPS Crisis 2015 kicks off another round of beta testing this Friday
Chinese FPS fans have been having kind of a boring 2014 so far. All’s quiet on the Call of Duty Online front, Crossfire hasn’t changed much since last year, and Netease’s Crisis 2015 isn’t out yet either.
But there’s good news on that last front: Crisis 2015 will be starting another round of closed beta testing this Friday. The beta will run for one full week (through the 14th), but servers will only be open from 12 P.M. to midnight (Beijing time) each day, except on weekends when they’ll open at 11 A.M.
Gamers who got into the first two rounds of testing are good again for this round, but they’ll have to download a new version of the game client from the official site. That’s also where you can go to try to get in on the action. Of course, if that doesn’t work you can always try a more unorthodox approach.
Those who do get into this round of the beta testing will enjoy access to special bonuses that include extra experience and in-game currency.
Unfortunately, it’s still not clear when the game will hit open beta so everyone can play. With luck it’ll be sometime soon; hopefully the “crisis” in question is not that the game won’t be released until 2015.
