Apple is scouting talent for its official Singapore store, slated to open in 2016. The Apple website lists 14 job postings, including Apple store leader, business manager, and business specialist.
The tech giant caused a bit of a hoo-ha when a gym and other retailers were vacated to make way for Apple. The store will apparently be located at Knightsbridge, a monolithic retail and hotel space in Orchard Road, Singapore’s premium shopping district.
This will be its first retail presence in the country. Previously, Apple aficionados had to make do with authorized third-party stores.
Having an official store could bring better customer service to Apple customers through its Genius Bars. It could allow Singapore customers to buy the latest products earlier and try out demo units.
Are you excited for the launch of the Apple store in Singapore?
