Easiway works like Uber – it partners with existing companies to automate the process of hailing a van and crossing between the cities. Users simply open the app to select a time, choose pick-up and drop-off locations, and click “book.”
3. Mad Paws | Australia
Mad Paws allows people to find local, vetted sitters for their pets, eliminating the guilt of leaving their buddies in kennels while going on holidays. The startup takes a 15 percent cut of pet sitters’ fees.
4. Jojonomic | Indonesia (Startup Profile)
Jojonomic is an app that simplifies bookkeeping by letting users easily keep track of expenses and income.
5. Wobb | Malaysia
Wobb is job app and site offers users a peek into what they’ll likely experience in their new workplace. From office photos to testimonials from employees, Wobb gives you an idea of what a company’s culture is like.
6. Toast | Singapore (Startup Profile)
Singapore-based online remittance platform Toast created a platform for migrant workers in Singapore who want to send money back to their families in the Philippines. It has developed a mobile app where the user can create an account, verify their identity, load it with funds, and then remit the money to their chosen destination in minutes, for a fixed fee.
