Australian fintech firm Finder hires ex-GoBear exec as chief growth officer for SEA

Finder, a fintech company headquartered in Australia, said it has recruited former GoBear chief strategy officer Jinnee Lim as its new chief growth officer for Southeast Asia.

Experience:

  • Prior to working at GoBear, Lim served as the head of client programs and segments for the Asia-Pacific region at financial services company UBS.
  • Lim brings with her over 15 years of experience in corporate strategy, business development, and strategic transformation.

More details:

  • The management change comes after Finder acquired GoBear in April. The takeover did not include operations and staff. According to Finder, a majority of GoBear’s staff had exited the business prior to the deal. (Read more: Behind GoBear’s surprising and sudden closure)
  • Lim will join Finder’s global executive team and will focus on ramping up the company’s content creation, marketing, and partnership efforts.
