Southeast Asia, these are your Hearthstone Global Challenge representatives!
Better late than never! The Southeast Asia qualifiers for the Hearthstone Global Challenge have concluded, and we’re proudly being represented by Singapore and the Philippines!
Adyb and geecee0 from Singapore and schizo300 and Waningmoon from the Philippines will be squaring off against China’s finest card sharks this weekend, June 21 to 22, at 7:00 P.M. GMT +8 on both days.
They’ll be fighting it out for a prize pool of RMB40,000, or $6,400. The winner of each of the four matches will take home a generous $1,600 each.
While the final stream channel has not yet been announced, an important note from the initial SEA versus China announcement mentioned that all top four players from each region must be able to stream their games. Given the poor connectivity in certain part of Southeast Asia and in China, we’re seriously crossing our fingers here that the representatives will be able to pull through their games!
