Southeast Asia doesn’t have Japan’s Dark Souls II collector’s edition, but at least it has this

Sure, it’s got nothing on Japan’s collector’s edition for Dark Souls II, but it’s alright. Purchasing the Dark Souls II collector’s edition in Southeast Asia or pre-ordering the Day 1 edition will get gamers an exclusive voucher that will give them early access to weapons from the Black Armor weapons pack.

These weapons are the Black Flamestone Dagger and Parma, the Yellow Quartz Longsword and Shield, the Bound Hand Axe and Bound Wooden Shield, the Homunculus Mace and Homunculus Wooden Shield and the Transgressor’s Staff and Leather Shield.

The significantly cheaper Day 1 edition of Dark Souls II will cost S$74.90 (about $59) for the PlayStation 3 version and S$69.90 (about $55) for the Xbox 360 version. The collector’s edition for Southeast Asia includes the game, the weapons pack, a 12” warrior knight figurine, an exclusive hardcover art book, and a cloth map. It will cost S$159.90 (about $127).

Thanks to Bandai Namco Games Asia being headquartered in this region, Dark Souls II, the Day 1 edition and the collector’s edition will be available to gamers in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines and Indonesia on March 11, 2014 for both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The PC edition of the game will follow after the console version launches.
