Single-page sites are hot. Website builder Strikingly lets you make them easily

Strikingly is a website builder for single-page sites.
The single-page site is trending in web design (check out some examples), and it’s easy to see why. Aside from the novelty factor, single-page sites allow owners to control the flow of content and the stories they want to tell. They’re more immersive and visual, serving to increase user engagement.
So, what if you’ve weighed the pros and cons of a single-page site, and you want to create one for yourself or your business despite not knowing a single line of code?
That’s where Strikingly comes in.
Unlike mainstay visual website builders Wix and Weebly, Strikingly is focused specifically on mobile-friendly single page sites, targeting students, small businesses, and freelancers. It has even found usage among individuals who simply want to express themselves, propose to their girlfriends, or create a personal wedding site.
Strikingly is free-to-use, but has pro plans with more features at $8 or $16 a month.
The site looks really simple to use. Once users select a template, they’ll be brought to the editing interface where changes made can be previewed immediately. Users can customize the background, colors, sections, and external links. Certain features, like mobile call-to-actions, A/B testing, and custom code, are only available to premium users.
The California-based startup, which just expanded to Singapore last week, has raised $1.5 million from Y Combinator, Innovation Works, and more. It now has 75,000 registered users, up from 10,000 in February this year. Between three to four percent of these users have converted to the paid plans.
