Singapore biotherapeutics firm Hummingbird bags $125m in series C round
Hummingbird Bioscience, a Singapore-based company focused on antibody discovery, pharmacology, and clinical development, has raised US$125 million in its latest round of funding.

- Hummingbird will use the funds to advance the clinical development of its assets, including its antibody products for fighting tumors. It also plans to develop precision therapeutics, including a treatment for multiple myeloma.
- Kenneth Harrison, a partner at Novo Ventures, will join Hummingbird’s board of directors, along with Dan Estes, a general partner at Frazier Healthcare Partners, and SK vice president Kiel Kim.
- In May 2020, the company raised US$25 million in an extended series B funding round led by SK Holdings to accelerate the development of new candidates into clinical trials, as well as strengthen its scientific and research and development capabilities.
