Founded last year, SnappRetail provides a point-of-sales (POS) system that helps retailers record transaction, and accept digital and card payments. It also offers loans to retailers that need additional working capital.

The company was established by Adeel Rasheed, Moazzam Ali Khan, Ahsan Aziz, and Moiz Ali. Before building SnappRetail, they had founded Resource Linked, a recruitment consultant firm that helps retailers hire employees.

“Having invested in similar plays globally, we have witnessed the immense market potential of this sector,” said Jussi Salovaara, Antler’s general partner.

SnappRetail plans to use the funds to expand its coverage to 13 cities by 2024.
