Led by co-founder and CEO Mark Rydon, Aethir was founded in 2021 by cloud industry veterans to build a “scalable decentralized cloud infrastructure.”
In short, Aethir makes “complex” cloud resources more accessible, particularly for enterprise-grade gaming and AI applications. This helps companies launch their products faster by solving market fragmentation issues in the cloud computing space.
Aethir said it has customers in both industries in Southeast Asia as well as in North and South America. It has a team of 68 employees.
“The cloud sector has traditionally been a challenging industry to scale, plagued by high costs, particularly for customers requiring complex real-time rendering or streaming infrastructure,” Rydon said. “That’s not taking into account the additional stress on the ecosystem as a result of the AI boom.”
