See how the characters play in the latest Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax video

Nothing hypes up an upcoming fighting game more than seeing how the game looks before it’s released. It seems that Sega knows that and has released it’s latest video revealing the gameplay of it’s eight playable characters in Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax.

The two and a half minute clip below shows gameplay videos of Asuna, Kuroyukihime, Minato, Shizuo, Kirino, Misaka, Shana, and Kirito. The video reveals that most of the characters are short to mid range fighters, with Misaka Mikoto of A Certain Magical Index having the longest range and Ryo-Kyu-Bu’s Minato having the most support heavy attacks.

All characters will have their signature moves from their respective series. Asuna, Kirito, and Shana will be using their trademark swords while Minato, Shizuo, and Misaka will be using random everyday stuff as part of their attack strings. Kuroyukihime’s move list differs however since her attacks use her Accel World persona, the Black Lotus.

The video also shows that their corresponding support characters will also be able to provide additional combo opportunities aside from the chosen character’s move list.

The game will be released in Japan arcades this spring. There’s no word if the game’s going to get an international release as of the moment.
