EMPG owns and runs property listing portals Bayut.com, Zameen.com, and Bproperty.com. It also acquired Moroccan property listings site Mubawab in May last year. It employs over 2,000 employees and is present in 40 cities across the United Arab Emirates, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Morocco, Spain, and Romania.
The company will use the new injection to make more acquisitions and investments, to further develop its technology, and to increase its portfolio’s market penetration, says group CEO Imran Ali Khan.
EMPG has raised US$160 million to date.
