- Consumer electronics giant Samsung is developing its own blockchain mainnet based on ethereum and may release its own token in the future, Coindesk reports, citing a person familiar with the matter.
- The South Korean company is also considering to implement its blockchain technology for its Samsung Pay app, but it hasn’t made a decision yet, the source added.
- Samsung’s blockchain team has been in active development since last year and is currently working on several projects, the report said.
