US software giant Salesforce has launched Einstein GPT, an AI customer relationship management (CRM) model.
The company’s crack at generative AI tech generates content for marketing, sales, service, commerce, and IT interactions. This is the newest iteration of its current Einstein model.
Firms can leverage the tool to create real-time content that adapts to changing customer information and needs. This can mean personalized automated emails for customer queries and targeted marketing copy. Developers can also use the AI assistant to write code.
Salesforce Ventures, the firm’s global investment arm, has also launched a US$250 million generative AI fund to invest in high-potential startups. It has already invested in Anthropic, Cohere, Hearth AI, and You.com.
“The world is experiencing one of the most profound technological shifts with the rise of real-time technologies and generative AI. This comes at a pivotal moment as every company is focused on connecting with their customers in more intelligent, automated, and personalized ways,” Salesforce co-founder and CEO Marc Benioff said in a press statement.
Slack, the Salesforce-owned corporate messaging platform, is also releasing a ChatGPT feature that will offer research tools, conversation summaries, and writing assistance for messages in collaboration with OpenAI.
