RockeTalk is Rocking the Cricket World Cup in India

Cricket is huge in India and with the Cricket World Cup season currently ongoing, brands are quick to ride the trend. RockeTalk, India’s top mobile social network is celebrating the Cricket World Cup with contests and live feeds.

The popular mobile social network, has introduced  ‘Cricket Vidhata’ (God of Cricket) and ‘Funny Commentator’ contests which has so far generated a lot of excitement and participation amongst cricket lovers.

The ‘Cricket Vidhata’ contest requires users to answer four simple questions about an ongoing cricket match each day while the ‘Funny Commentator’ contest prompts users to share funny updates. There are a lot of exciting prizes to be won each day. To participate type RTALK from your mobile phone and send it to 56070.

“Apart from these two contests, we also offer audio score updates by RockeTalk reporters. Within RockeTalk’s cricket community, our service also provides video feeds from the stadium, video Q&A on the matches and voice and video status feeds to share celebrations or disappointments,” CEO and Founder of Rocketalk, Mr. Rajiv Kumar told Penn Olson.

The live feeds from Rocketalk  are all user-generated. Interestingly, cricket enthusiasts are also sharing real-time updates directly from the stadium through RockeTalk. It matters a lot to users who cannot catch it live in the stadium. It isn’t just India that is celebrating the Cricket World Cup with RockeTalk. RockeTalk’s service is also open to other countries including Pakistan, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, U.K, U.S and many more.

With a target of reaching 20 million subscribers over the next 12 to 18 months, Rocketalk seems to be heading the right direction by engaging users with trending activities. Facebook and Twitter would have to face some healthy competition in India’s mobile space as Rocketalk doesn’t seem to be showing signs of weaknesses.
