The funding followed broadcasting giant Mediacorp’s investment as part of its Mediapreneur Incubator Programme in 2017, according to a statement.
Bykido plans to use the proceeds to improve its tech infrastructure, bring in new partners, and boost its marketing efforts in Singapore.
It’s also looking to boost its existing channels and expand overseas content to reach more families. Bykido says it serves over 50,000 users monthly across its app, website, social media, and newsletter.
