Highway Madness is an awesome endless driving game. As a getaway driver it is your job to stay one step ahead of the police and avoid the traffic as you go tearing through the city. The slowly increasing speed and variety of pickups keeps things interesting, and the increasingly dense traffic makes it tougher to the point of sadism.

Is it a new idea? Not really. But what it lacks in originality it makes up for in execution, with slick graphics, great gameplay and responsive controls. It’s a great game, and you should give it a go.

Assault Vector is a turn-based strategy game where the player navigates hexagonal tiles to avoid or combat enemy ships. After fifteen randomly generated levels of increasing difficulty, the game is won (though players can keep going to increase their high score and up the challenge). Each kind of enemy has a different attack pattern, and it’s the combinations that add variety to each run. A fun strategy title for $0.99 that’s easy to play with one hand on the go, but don’t expect it to live on your phone for months on end.
