Real Racing 3 Porsche Macan challenge in Southeast Asia can get you from iPad to a Germany racetrack
It’s not just the pro players who get all the swag. This weekend, gamers in Singapore, Indonesia, Taiwan and Thailand can get their shots at glory, too.
EA has teamed up with luxury car brand Porsche to bring these four countries the Macan (mah-kahn) Challenge, where the best players of Real Racing 3 from each country will compete for the chance to visit the Porsche museum, check out the Porsche factory, and best of all, drive a Porsche on a race track—all in Germany.
All you have to do is head down to the Porsche Macan roadshow this weekend in each of your respective countries and play Real Racing 3 on-site. You can register online or simply head to the venue and start playing.
The top ten participants with the fastest lap times will be shortlisted for an interview. The challenge is the real deal, and the organizers need to be sure of several things, such as whether you’re going to be able to take time off to visit Germany, if you’re fit enough to race on the track, and of course, if you have a driver’s license. Your creativity when answering the interviewing panel also counts towards your selection.
From the shortlist, three participants will be picked to form their country’s dream team. Together with a celebrity from each country, the teams will head down to Taiwan from May 8 to May 12, where they will compete against each other for the chance to go on that fantastic trip to Germany.
Shortlisted participants who don’t make it to Taiwan still get a pretty good deal. They’ll be among the first people in each of their respective countries to drive the new Porsche Macan when it starts shipping.
And all this from just playing a racing game!
The Singapore Real Racing 3 Macan Challenge is open from 11:00 A.M. to 10:00 P.M.
