Singapore-based proptech major PropertyGuru has appointed Shyn Yee Ho-Strangas as the managing director for its data and software solutions business.

She will report to CEO and group managing director Hari V Krishnan. She will be responsible for driving the execution of data and software solutions and services, with a focus on enterprise customers in the property sector.
Ho-Strangas previously served as the director of global product management at Expedia Group. She has experience devising strategies and software solutions for enterprise players in the travel space.

The latest appointment comes after the company was listed on the New York Stock Exchange on March 18 after a business combination with Bridgetown 2, a SPAC backed by billionaire investors Peter Thiel and Richard Li.
PropertyGuru lost US$270 million in its market cap after its first two days of trading on the New York Stock Exchange. As of writing, its market cap is slightly over US$1 billion – well below the equity value of about US$1.8 billion and enterprise value of over US$1.3 billion in the SPAC agreement it signed last year.
