The partnership was first made public by Polygon COO Michael Blank at Korea Blockchain Week 2022.
Operating on a special revenue distribution model, Intella X allows users to contribute and get rewards in a native token called IX Token. It uses proof of contribution and staking as reward mechanisms.
On Intella X, developers can build projects and receive compensation while users can earn by playing individual games and trading tokens. The platform’s revenue will come from commissions from in-app purchases and other fees.
At the moment, two Neowiz games are available on Intella X: House of Poker and House of Slots. The firms said other popular titles such as Cats and Soup, Alliance of Valiant Arms, and Brave Nine are set to arrive at the platform soon. The firm also plans to launch several new IP-based Web3 games in 2023.
Along with the platform, Polygon and Neowiz also announced a crypto wallet named IX Wallet. Besides gaming services, the wallet can be used for other applications such as decentralized exchanges, NFT launchpads, bridges, and NFT marketplaces. It is built on the Ethereum blockchain, like Polygon’s other offerings.
