Pokemon Go available in 15 more countries, including those in Southeast Asia

The wait is over. Pokemon Go is now available in 15 countries in Asia and Oceania.

Countries like Indonesia have been spawning Pokemon, despite the game having not launched there.

Niantic has been criticized for launching the game in such a staggered manner. This latest batch of launches came about a month after it debuted in the US. That doesn’t seem to have dampened enthusiasm for the game in those 15 countries though.

According to App Annie, it’s now the number one overall app in 60 countries on iOS, although this doesn’t yet factor in the latest slate of countries.

In Singapore, someone is trying to organize a Pokemon Go mass walk, although the person is trying to get approval from the police (yes you need a permit for such events in Singapore).
