The search for the best Chaos Online teams is on as PlayCyberGames hosts the Chaos Online World Championship 2014 with a prize pool of $15,000. This is currently the biggest prize pool in the Chaos Online competitive scene. The tournament will feature qualifying teams from five South East Asian countries, namely Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Philippines, and invited teams from South Korea, Japan, and Indonesia.
The online qualifiers will be on January 18 to 19, 2014. The top four teams for each SEA country will join the invited teams in the finals on January 25 to 26, 2014. A total of 32 teams will play against each other in a double elimination format.
Online registration for the five countries’ qualifiers is now open and will end on January 16, 2014. At the moment, Malaysian teams are advised to contact their respective admin for details. For more information and registration details, you can head over to the PlayCyberGames website.
