Tech in Asia is seeking pitches from writers who can report on China’s fast-changing and massive tech ecosystem.

We want story ideas on the country’s AI scene and emerging tech, exclusive scoops on major tech firms and their overseas expansions, as well as under-the-radar startups and founders.

Pitches are open only to China-based professional reporters and journalists who have a track record of publishing with English tech outlets. We offer competitive rates.

All pitches must answer these questions:

• What is the story about?
• Why will readers in Asia care?
• What insights can be drawn, and how are they relevant across the region?
• How does your story angle differ from what’s already been covered by other publications?
• What unique data or interviews can strengthen the piece?
