Innovation is picking up in the Philippines, and it’s expected to further accelerate with a number of public-private initiatives laid down.
For one, the Philippines’ government and startup community just unveiled a roadmap for building a thriving ecosystem in the next few years. From just a hundred startups currently, the Philippines targets to have 500 startups with total valuation of US$2 billion by 2020.
