Philippines: League of Legends Pro Gaming Series begins its third week this March
The Philippines’ League of Legends Pro Gaming Series (PGS), Spring season will begin its third week of matches this coming Saturday, March 1, 2014.
The PGS serves as the proving grounds for Philippine League of Legends (LoL) teams to see if they have what it takes to be part of the Garena Premier League (GPL) summer season. The stakes are higher this spring because the team who is crowned champion will not only be crowned the best LoL team in the Philippines, but will also represent the country in the upcoming GPL Summer season. One seat to the LoL world championships is at stake in the third and last season of the 2014 Garena Premier League.
The PGL’s ninth and tenth games will be between the currently top ranked team, Wargods, and MSI EvoGT, who will have their first match in the season. These matches will be on March 1, 2014 and will start at 5:00 P.M. (GMT +8). The next two games between Mineski and Manila Eagles will take place the next day, at 5:00 P.M. (GMT +8).
