He updated his LinkedIn account with his new role, though the degree of his involvement in the firm has not yet been announced. On April 15, Catcha Group also announced its investment into the startup.

Estate.co enables users to purchase shares of a property, with investment amounts ranging from US$1,000 to US$100,000, and promises returns from rental and capital gains. On its website, the company said Grove has been “investing in luxury real estate for 30 years, with a portfolio worth over US$100 million.”

The investment adds to Catcha Group’s property ventures, which includes Malaysian home rental platform Instahome, where Grove is also listed as a co-founder. Catcha previously divested from real estate site iProperty Group in 2016, selling it to Rupert Murdoch’s REA Group for US$534 million.
