The program’s areas of interest include blockchain, digital distribution and wealth management tech, insurtech, data science and predictive behavior analytics, and sustainability.

The asset manager will provide each participant with a minimum of US$150,000 in seed funding. Selected startups will also be able to leverage Franklin Templeton and F10’s incubation curriculum, which includes individualized milestones with mentoring and guidance.

BetterData, a Singapore-based data platform, has been selected as the first participant for the incubator from over 30 applicants.

“With the stewardship, expertise, and support of our local Singapore-based fintech team, we seek to support creative startups across the region,” says Margaret King, vice president of fintech partnerships and corporate strategic investments at Franklin Templeton.

Applications for the program are open, with the first phase starting in July 2022.
