According to Outpost, the round will fund the expansion of its destination co-working, co-living, and travel services in Asia Pacific. Currently, it operates in Ubud and Canggu in Bali, Indonesia and in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, with a plan to expand to a fourth location soon.
Outpost transforms underperforming hotel properties in the region into communal work and living spaces to fit the needs of location-independent workers.
“Being genuinely connected with the local communities we operate within is important to us in order to be both sustainable and profitable in the market,” Outpost co-founder David Abraham said.
