After nearly 30 years running digital agencies, Ronni K. Gothard Christiansen grew concerned about online privacy. Seeing most consent tools as superficial, he founded AesirX to offer a technical solution that ensures real user consent before any data tracking.
😟 Problem
Across Asia, new data protection laws are pushing companies to comply, yet many websites still track users by default. Consent banners may appear, but tracking tools often load and send data before users make a choice.
This exposes companies to regulatory risk and damages user trust. Many struggle to track what data is collected and where it goes, especially when third-party tools transfer data across borders. The idea that a “banner equals compliance” is often misleading.
💡 Solution
AesirX provides a consent-first measurement stack that blocks non-essential tracking until a user gives explicit permission. It focuses on technical implementation, not just policy templates, to ensure real-world compliance.
Its core features include:
- A consent management platform that controls which scripts and tags are allowed to load and when.
- First-party analytics tools that companies can host on their own infrastructure, reducing third-party data exposure.
- A privacy scanner and AI advisor that generates policies and cookie declarations based on what a site actually loads.
- Continuous privacy monitoring to detect new trackers or compliance regressions as a site evolves.
