In brief: Ola acquihires Indian AI startup Pikup.ai
- Indian ride-hailing giant Ola has acquihired local AI startup Pikup.ai to leverage analytics and deep technology for building new mobility solutions, The Economic Times reported.
- The Pickup.ai team, including its founders Inder Singh and Ritwik Saikia, will join Ola as part of the deal.
- “We are investing in futuristic technology solutions that will shape the future of mobility in India and the world,” said Ola co-founder and chief technology officer Ankit Bhati.
- The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
