Founded by Rupam Biswas, Bogdan Metehoiu, and Max Loosen in 2018, Sendhelper connects homeowners with verified service providers, who offer repair, air conditioner maintenance, cleaning, and other services.
Sendhelper currently has over 2,000 trained and verified freelance workers on its platform.
The acquisition by PropertyGuru comes as the proptech firm aims to offer homeowners a full suite of solutions. Along with PropertyGuru Finance, the group’s users will be able to find, buy, and maintain their real estate holdings.
PropertyGuru was founded in 2007 by Steve Melhuish and Jani Rautiainen and currently has over 3.5 million real estate listings across five Southeast Asian markets. In March, the group listed on the New York Stock Exchange via a SPAC merger with Bridgetown 2 Holdings at an equity value of about US$1.8 billion.
