Indonesian podcast app brings in ex-Googler as CEO
Noice, an Indonesia-based audio content app, has appointed Rado Ardian to serve as its CEO and Niken Sasmaya as its chief business officer.
Experience:
- Ardian previously served as the program manager for Google Maps and Google Store in Asia Pacific. Prior to that, he also held executive positions for multinational consulting firm Accenture.
- Sasmaya also spent several years with Google. Her last position was as the global program manager for YouTube, responsible for developing the content creator ecosystem in Southeast Asia, Australia, and New Zealand.

- Noice says that it currently has close to 800,000 registered listeners, with consumption levels doubling to 60 minutes per day over the past year.
- It recently launched Noicebook, an audio summary of books, and secured a partnership with Indonesian telco Telkomsel for content distribution.
- With over 100 original shows, the company claims to be the largest podcast network in the country.
- The company’s previous chief executive Adrian Syarkawie, who was also the CEO of Noice’s early investor Mahaka Radio Integra, will step down and assume a supporting role.
