Gojek bags $300m from Indonesian telco operator Telkomsel

- Telkomsel and Gojek are looking at the investment as an opportunity for their existing collaboration to gain momentum.
- Examples of their partnerships are Telkomsel’s special data packages for Gojek’s drivers, Gojek’s merchants having the ability to tap into Telkomsel’s user base via Telkomsel MyAds service, and Telkomsel’s resellers or merchants being made available in GoShop’s service.
- In November last year, Telkomsel injected US$150 million into the ride-hailing and payments firm.
