Better HR will use the fresh funds to fuel the startup’s expansion into new markets across South and Southeast Asia.

The firm offers a cloud-based enterprise solution to streamline HR processes such as attendance, leave, overtime, and payroll for small and medium-sized companies.

Better HR manages over 35,000 employees and processes more than US$2 million in salaries per month for upwards of 200 companies across Myanmar, Sri Lanka, and Vietnam, according to the company.

“Our product was essential in helping organizations to adapt to work-from-home conditions during Covid-19. Our clients are using Better HR to keep up with employee communications and HR processes despite having to work remotely,” said Ye Myat Min, chairman of Better HR.
