YouTube launches ad-free video streaming for $7.99 per month

YouTube has introduced a new subscription service called “Premium Lite” for US$7.99 per month.

This plan is designed for users seeking an ad-free experience on most videos, excluding ad-free music access.

The Premium Lite plan differs from YouTube’s existing US$13.99 Premium and US$10.99 Music Premium plans.

The Premium plan provides ad-free viewing for both videos and music. Meanwhile, the Music Premium plan focuses solely on ad-free music videos.
