Unicommerce hits record low, down 59.6% from 52-week high
Shares of Indian ecommerce software provider Unicommerce fell 9.13% in early trading on the BSE today, Mar. 3, hitting an all-time low of 97.00 rupee (US$1.11).
By midday, the stock slightly recovered but remained down 8.48% at 97.85 rupee (US$1.12), with a market cap of 1,002.32 crore rupee (US$114.71 million) and a trading volume of 11.3 lakh shares.
This marks the fourth consecutive session of losses, with the stock down 36.11% in the past month and 52.43% over six months. It has fallen 59.56% from its 52-week high of 264 rupee (US$3.02) in August 2024.
The decline aligns with broader market trends, as the Nifty50 index closed February with a 6.2% loss, marking its fifth straight month of declines.
The market cap of 32 new-age stocks also dropped significantly, from US$102.11 billion in December to US$73.06 billion by the end of February.
Despite the falling stock price, Unicommerce reported strong Q3 FY25 results, with net profit rising 62.1% YoY to 6.29 crore rupee (US$719.884) and revenue from customer contracts increasing 26% to 32.74 crore rupee (US$3.75 million).
