UAE’s Adnoc signs $920m deal to expand AI program
Energy company Adnoc has awarded a US$920 million contract to enhance its AI-driven well digitalization program in key oilfields in Abu Dhabi.
The project will remotely control and monitor over 2,000 wells at Bab, Bu Hasa, and South East fields, aiming to boost operational efficiency and safety.
Jereh Oil and Gas Engineering secured the contract from Adnoc Onshore, Adnoc’s onshore subsidiary.
The project completion is expected by 2027, using Adnoc’s 5G network and AI technologies
