UAE state-owned oil company to push AI in energy sector

Abu Dhabi National Oil Co. (Adnoc) has joined forces with AIQ, Abu Dhabi-based AI champion, to introduce AI in the energy sector.

This initiative, revealed by Adnoc CEO Sultan Al Jaber during the Adipec conference, uses AI technology developed with Microsoft and G42.

The goal of this technology is to expedite seismic surveys and improve the precision of production forecasts.

The company reported plans for emission reduction, signaling strides toward sustainability in the energy industry.
