Taiwan’s PXPay Plus launches payment app in South Korea
PXPay Plus Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Taiwanese supermarket chain PX Mart, has launched its online payment app, “PXPay Plus,” in South Korea.
This introduction marks the company’s entry into the cross-border digital payment market.
The app was previously made available in Japan in January 2024.
The rollout in South Korea enables payments at more than 1.9 million locations through collaborations with Taiwan’s HIVEX payment platform, Korea’s ZeroPay, and ICB, a financial technology company.
The launch aligns with a rise in Taiwanese travel to South Korea.
